In-game bars and restaurants have been upgraded. All buildings and locations that are enterable in multiplayer can now be entered in story mode.
Some buildings are already entarable in story mode, but some are locked and can only be accessed through multiplayer. Instead of just driving in and respraying the vehicle, players can now customize and modify their vehicles, just like in GTA 5. The Pay n Spray garages in GTA IV and its episodes have been upgraded. Players can now access the in-game internet on the phone, play mini games, take pictures, save them in a gallery and upload them as screenshots. Cell phones in the game have been upgraded. Players can now toggle first person view inside the subway and players can also use the protagonist's cell phone whilst riding the subway. The protagonists can now purchase items from websites and eat at the cafe. The in-game internet cafes have been upgraded. The ability to drive bicycles and riding skateboards around Liberty City has been added. The camera view inside the subway trains no longer turns black and white. Several new clothing items are added in all the different clothing stores.
Story missions and strangers can be replayed, just like in GTA 5. The physics and mechanics feature minor improvements. All games use the visuals from Red Dead Redemption 2. Players can toggle between 3rd and 1st person view. GTA Episodes From Liberty City: Remastered
